Originally from Melbourne, Daina has been a Consultant Podiatrist in Townsville for the last 15 years. Daina loves the North Queensland lifestyle and  considers herself a true NQ local, calling Magnetic Island home.

Her sporting background includes marathon running, road cycling, mountain bike racing, golf, and adventure racing. When not at Townsville Podiatry, Daina loves being outdoors exploring the trails of North Queensland.

Daina is also a Mountain Bike coach and Fitness Instructor and on the weekends she runs Destination Adventure Magnetic Island, holding retreats for Mountain Biking, Trail Running, Ocean Paddling and Yoga, as well as the The Great Island Trek - a fundraiser for Beyond Blue
